Author's projects

"REnaissance" is the most recent artistic project by Marcin Zdunik and Aleksander Dębicz. The 70-minutes-long program is to create the sense of time and space in the renaissance music through placing in today's context. Not only have the performers reached again for the art of improvisation, but also the electroning sound technology (keybords, looper, computer) has been used. Through progressive means of expression Zdunik and Dębicz explore the art of the greatest 16th-century masters - Palestrina, Carlo Gesualdo, Wacław from Szamotułu and Mikołaj Gomółka. They aim to reach the core of it's beauty and timelessness.
