FRYDERYK 2010 Haydn – Denisov

FRYDERYK 2010 Haydn – Denisov

Marcin Zdunik’s debut CD has been published in the time, when the music world has been commemorating the 200th anniversary of Joseph Haydn’s death. The programme consists of his two world-known Cello Concertos, as well as contemporary piece by a Russian composer Edison Denisov. The latter composition is based on the melody of Haydn’s canon „Tod ist ein langer Schlaf”. Marcin Zdunik recorded the CD with a brilliant Wratislavia Chamber Orchestra conducted by a legendary polish concertmaster Jan Stanienda
